My favorite place to visit in Minnesota is the north shore. There are countless recreational activities all year around and awesome scenery.

My favorite pre race breakfast is something light and simple. Some of my go tos are a bagel and some fruit or some oatmeal.

My favorite workout is classic intensity. Classic skiing is my favorite technique so I really enjoy all classic intensity workouts whether it’s easy L3, speeds, or a double pole only distance ski.

What keeps me motivated to ski is my passion for the sport, seeing long term improvement and becoming the best skier I can be.

My biggest recovery advice is to not overlook how helpful it can be to stretch and roll out for a few minutes daily whether it’s in the evening or between workouts. It makes a noticeable difference for me especially during big training weeks.

I can make the community better as an older athlete and member of Team Birkie by doing my best to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone.
