 How did you get into skiing? 

My dad put me on a pair of skis right after I learned to walk and it has been my favorite activity ever since. 

What are your most fond memories of skiing? 

Our boy's high school team qualified for the state meet.

(running hills with the high school team when there was no snow this year) if that counts.

When I was little, racing my brother and sister up and down the ditch at our house.

Best result in skiing? 

Sixth in the classic sprint at the Battle Creek JNQ this year.

Favorite place to visit in Minnesota? 

Mt.Itasca.

Favorite workout? 

Level 4 intervals.

What keeps you motivated?

That feeling of accomplishment after hard workouts. 

How can you make your community better? 

Inspiring and working with younger athletes.
