Ski de She

Ski de She was held at the American Birkebeiner trail this past weekend (January 17-January 19th). 150 women participated in the weekend-long camp and almost 400 women competed in Saturday’s races.

From Team Birkie, Gretta, Emma, Abby, Jenna, Nichole Bathe and Julie were among the coaching staff. Nicole Eliasson came to race as well on Saturday.

Among the race highlights; Gretta and Emma placing 1st and 2nd in the 5km skate race, Nicole 5th in the 30km skate and the scones from Backroads Coffee in Hayward!

This weekend was a great event for women wanting to learn how to ski or improve on where they are, be among other inspiring women and learn from the speakers. We are already excited for next year!
